Jouska is the alias of Marit Othilie Thorvik, an Oslo-based songwriter and producer. Musically, Jouska makes dreamy and quirky electronic pop somewhere in between Boards of Canada and Gorillaz, but with elements from r&b and pop punk. Her debut-album ‘Everything is Good’ (Koke Plate 2020) was named Album of The Week in The Line of Best Fit and caught P-Vine Records Japan’s attention, who went on to distribute the record in Japan.
Jouska is now finally done with her second album ‘Suddenly My Mind Is Blank’, and we are looking forward to releasing the first single ‘Why’d You Leave Me in The Red?’ September 21st on Koke Plate.
